Helping people strengthen their relationships and build out their leadership skills are my passions.
Principles that guide my guide work include:
Honesty - I commit to both supporting AND challenging you. We can't change our blindspots if we don't know them.
Action - it takes both insight and behavior change to create growth. I commit to helping you put your insights into action.
Relationality - understanding the relationships we have with ourselves and others is the key to unlocking barriers to success. I commit to developing an authentic relationship with you where we build success together.
Fun - life is too short to not enjoy our endeavors. If we work together, we will laugh together!

After finishing my graduate studies at Idaho State University in 1999, I started my (professional) career as a counselor and counselor educator at Montana State University. While there, I developed a passion and talent for leadership. I served as an associate dean at MSU and from there became the founding dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences at South Dakota State University. I spent a wonderful decade there leading a large, multi-disciplinary college dedicated to enhancing human potential. I loved that work. I loved serving the faculty, students, and staff, and I loved helping them reach across disciplines and create projects that were much larger and much better for the diversity of expertise. We did this by building relationships first.
Relationship building is my first passion. Having been trained in systems theory and relationship therapy and maintaining a clinical practice as a licensed professional therapist throughout my career, I've learned from the best - countless clients who have let my into their lives and their relationships for 25+ years.
I'm fortunate to combine my passions for leadership development and relationship work in Jt Coaching and Consulting, where I work with leaders who want to strengthen their relationships.
My professional career started at Montana State, but my early learning began on our family farm and ranch in Idaho. I grew up riding horses and working cattle and I still need the life lessons that I learn there!
My husband, Greg Holdeman, and I live in Bozeman, Montana. Greg is a builder and rock n' roll drummer. We love spending time with family and friends.
